Does water help to combat acne and give better skin complexion?

Water is life!!!

We need water to live and seeing that 2/3 of our body is made of water, it’s a very important substance to drink!

Now, many beauticians and physicians believe that by drinking water, one can purify the skin and bodily organs. The thought process comes from the fact that water helps to flush out toxins. In some cases, water will help to re-hydrate dry skin and help to make the skin look more “alive” and shiny, but on the other hand, water alone cannot help to get rid of acne.

The way acne occurs is through the over production of sebum leading to oily skin which harbours bacteria (Propionibacterium acne) responsible in causing acne to develop.

So, remember, water alone cannot cure acne but it can help to an extent in keeping your skin healthy and well hyrdated!!!

YES YES YES !!! Water is magic!

I can honestly say that by drinking lots of water (about 3-4 litres perday), my skin feels very soft and hydrated. It has even helped to clear some of my acne breakouts; I rarely have acne breakouts these days but drinking water coupled with a healthy diet does the trick.

acne is sooo horrible! you think you are acne free then you go to bed wake up in the morning and see an ugly monster in the mirror. acne has affected my life so much, making my confidence so low and making me depressed. i rarely feel like communicating with people, when i do they just seem to stare at my spots! i used to be an outgoing person who loved life and loved having a ball, now im more of a hermit, no one ever hears of me coz i stay in every night of the week, iv even started bunking of school. i have a girlfriend who is the best girl in the world, but my relationship with her is on the line because i avoid her and make silly excuses why im not able to see her, just because of my acne! none of my freinds have acne just an occasional spot, and every time i see them they tell me im getting spottier! iv tried drinking loads and loads of water each day and it does help, but it doesnt clear acne, iv even changed my diet and i exercise every day, but still no improvement. iv tried all kinds of face washes and must of spent hundreads on them, but still no improvement. i just dont feel like myself when iv got acne. i remember when i was younger and my skin was really clear, i had soooo much confidence and loved life! now its the opposite. i wish my skin would go back to the way it was! i hate my life. i cant be myself around no one not even my family. i hate going to school and hate going out. i often get upset when i look in the mirror, i look like a monster! i feel like im letting my girlfreind down because she is soo gorjiss and her skin is sooo clear and perfect, people often say what is she doing with him! i really cant take it nomore! nearly 1 year now iv had this, and not 1 day in that year have i wokr up in the morning and felt good about my skin! everything i do just makes it worse i cant take it anymore! all my family and friends have clear skin, so y cant i?? lifes not fair! id do anything for clear skin! anything!

If acne is a major problem and you want a long-term solution go consult a dermatologist about a product called “Acutane”. They are capsules you take 10 times a week for months which will make your skin start drying towards the end, this subsides in time, but the end result is a huuge decrease in acne. I tried all the over-the-counter creams and all the other garbage then finally broke down and got this stuff and now im not self concious about my face anymore. It is however, rather expensive and should only be used as a last solution for long-term cure.

    Best of luck.

I have spent a week of drinking 3 litres of water a day and I can already notice a difference. Before I used to drink very little and find drinking water hard to do. Every time I would get a glass if water and never finish it. I noticed I found it easier to drink from a bottle so I would drink one bottle a day then the next day drink 2, then 3. I got up to 5 bottles per day. My skin feels great and this morning I woke up with no pimples on my face. I haven’t had a day day without a pimple in a long time. When I noticed some pimples start to go away I would always see some developing but this week they have just been going away. Drinking lots of water has done heaps for my skin.

Many people feel that their acne is overly embarrassing and unmanageable. I have read story after story of heartache, especially from teens that endure heartless bullying from schoolmates. There are so many different remedies and medications. What most people fail to realise is that each individual has a different biological makeup and what works for one person may not work for everyone. In some cases certain acne treatment can adversely affect already irritated skin. This further causes unnecessary embarrassment and frustration to an already uncomfortable situation.
Propaganda fuels misconceptions about different so-called remedies and even causes. The idea that chocolate and oily food causes acne. When in truth, makeup, unhealthy skin and even perspiration can cause acne.
All of these factors affect the skin. But even your skin makeup can affect your skin and create back acne, scalp acne, large assesses or ingrown hair. There is an acne questionnaire done by a company called Skinmed that will help to diagnose acne problems through a series of questions, and then it n recommends the best acne treatment for each individual.
Teen acne is typically the most difficult to diagnose because of hormonal considerations, but there is a special area meant just for teen acne that has a completely different set of rules when running the formula that determines the best medications or treatments. In some cases simple changes in hygiene and daily washing is all that it takes.
The site also has a free offer on acne facial cleanser that is made up of a three step process. The primary reason most teens, especially boys tend to have more problems with chronic acne is because of a lack of simply washing their face regularly. So this treatment is free is a way to create a healthy daily routine, while gently healing the skin to prevent acne scarring brought on as a result of squeezing the sores. Once daily cleaning is practices, and hormonal issues are taken into consideration, a proper treatment regiment can be highly affective.
At the end of the day most acne, even teen acne , can be eliminated quickly and permanently with the right motivation. After all, we all want to be beautiful don’t we?
